KNEBWORTH ’96 · THE START OF THE STORY

From the crowd to the stage.

Alex Larke attended Oasis at Knebworth in 1996. That concert made him decide he wanted to become a singer. Liar Gallagher is where the journey eventually led.

The day everything changed

For Alex, Knebworth ’96 was more than a famous gig. It was the moment a future professional singer saw exactly what music could do to a crowd.

He was there as a fan, surrounded by the scale, noise and shared belief of the Oasis audience. The experience made one idea impossible to ignore: he wanted to become a singer.

THE AUTHENTIC LINE

Knebworth ’96 → a professional singing career → international performance experience → Liar Gallagher.

A professional career followed

Alex built a long career as a singer and performer rather than treating music as a weekend hobby. In 2015, he represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest as part of Electro Velvet. His work has also taken him to international stages and events.

That experience matters to buyers. It means stagecraft, preparation, audience awareness and the practical discipline that professional events require. Liar Gallagher keeps the focus on the live tribute, while Alex’s background gives agents, venues and international clients confidence in the person delivering it.

Why it matters to the show

Liar Gallagher is not an attempt to borrow someone else’s history. It is a professional tribute built by a singer whose own career began with a genuine Oasis fan experience.

The show brings together the major Oasis anthems, Liam Gallagher solo favourites, recognisable stage attitude and the simple thing that made Knebworth powerful in the first place: a room full of people singing the same songs back.

A note on Oasis and Knebworth 2027

STATUS CHECKED 20 AUGUST 2026

There is substantial media reporting and fan interest around possible Oasis activity at Knebworth and Manchester’s Etihad Stadium in 2027. A promoter obtaining a Knebworth events licence is a real development, but it is not an official Oasis concert announcement. As of this update, official Oasis channels have not confirmed Knebworth 2027 dates, Etihad 2027 dates or a wider Oasis Live ’27 tour.

This website does not sell Oasis tickets and will not present reported plans as fact. If official dates are announced, the status will be updated from the primary source.

Current-status sources checked 20 August 2026: official Oasis news and reporting on the Knebworth promoter licence. Media reporting is clearly distinguished from an official band announcement.
